The Big, The Bold, and The Busy

Okay, that title doesn’t have much appeal for me but I have to start at something. I find it challenging to write today since I have a million things on my mind.  But this blog needs some lovin’ and I night as well get  a post squeezed in while waiting for my daughter to finish her art class.

The Big

By this, I mean literally BIG. I gained 15 pounds and feel worse than ever. I blame it to my busy work schedule and my ankles. I sprained them both last year and they just don’t seem to be working as fine as before. It hurts when I stretch them  or walk for long hours.  In spite of this, I still enrolled in an aero dance class nearby. The instructor is too gay for my liking but it’s only for a month and hopefully, I will figure out  I really want to do for exercise after a month.

The Bold

I just paid deposit on a small commercial space. We’re planning on converting this into a small Internet cafe. The funding will come from my very first client as a VA and I will do the managing. I am keeping my fingers crossed that it will succeed.

As in every business, you need to think something that will set you off from your competition. That’s called competitive advantage.  Aside from the food, I will be offering other value-added services like tutorials, resume and business card design, etc. I will also be posting about VA and tech jobs for those who are interested on working at home.

The Busy

I’ve been really busy this past few weeks with new clients, iBlog 7, and breaking in new VAs.  With the mommy duties and the VA work, it’s fortunate that I have time to  take  a bath! Okay… that’s an exaggeration, but you get my drift. I even asked my daughter to take over washing the dishes for the day.  She happily took charge of it with our little role playing game.

Time Management Needed

With so many things going on, I definitely need to level up my time management skills. I hope that that will come in hand this week as i welcome new clients and satisfy old ones.

Ciao for now!
