During my Puerto Galera trip, the thing that surprised me the most was that I couldn’t find any shells on the shores of White Beach. I’m not kidding! All I saw was hundreds and hundreds of pebbles of all shapes and sizes. I was fascinated… a beach with no shells.
Fast forward to 2 days later, I came home with a small plastic filled with pebbles and each night, since I returned home, I stacked them as high as I can to make pebble sculptures. Here are some of my creations.
I call this Voltes V. From left to right, Little John, Mark, Steve, Jaime, and Big Bert. Below is what I call White Lady. These white pebbles glow when hit by light.
The next picture is most interesting for me because it’s looks very fragile yet, it didn’t fall. I call it the Leaning Tower.
Pebble sculpture is a good way to de-stress after a whole day of working and running errands. Try if for yourself and see if it doesn’t clear your mind of everything that’s got you anxious, worried, or stressed all day.
