I have said it before and I will say it again. I. LOVE. PIZZA.HUT! About 50% of the time Gabby and I eat out, we always end up in Pizza Hut. We love their cream of chicken and their chicken BBQ pizza. Their iced tea is better than the one you can get from McDonald’s or Jollibee. Their pastas are reasonably priced.
Then last Friday, Gabby & I went for dinner at Pizza Hut Pacita. It’s our fave branch for several reasons: it’s the nearest, it’s cozy, and the staff is friendly. So we took our usual seat and I was about to ask for their Supreme Panalo menu when the waitress gave me their new Supreme Dinner menu. For only P139, you can create your own dinner from the options available. Here’s what I ordered:
Supreme Dinner #1
Cream of Chicken + Shrimp & Garlic Pasta + Shirley Temple
Supreme Dinner #2
Cream of Chicken + Spaghetti Bolognese with Oven-baked Porkchop + Iced Tea
The Shrimp and Garlic pasta was bit too salty for my taste. We had it wrapped, along with Gabby’s own Spaghetti Bolognese with Oven-baked porkchops, and ate it at home. I ate it cold and it tasted like pansit by that time – a salty pansit.
The oven-baked Porchop was juicy and tender and Gabby loved it! Even the leftover, which she had the next morning, was still juicy. We would definitely be ordering this again.
Gabby loved the Shirley Temple. I actually ordered it for myself but when she tasted it, she asked for a swap. She didn’t eat the cherry, though.
I think I would be visiting Pizza Hut to try their other combinations and their new drinks. But we would definitely ask my mom to do some chef work and cooked that oven-baked porkchop at home.
