Our House in San Pedro Laguna after Hagupit ng Habagat
Here’s a video tour of our flooded house in Brgy. San Roque, San Pedro, Laguna after Hagupit ng Habagat. You’ll see that we manage to put most of our stuff on high areas of the house but the flood waters still reached them. We’ve been hauling things to safety one balsa trip at a time since the rain won’t let up and we can’t move items that are supposed to remain dry.
We’re probably going to throw away a lot of stuff that has been submerged in water, partially or fully. This includes the washing machine plus dryer, hardwood sofa set, futons, foam mattresses, pillows, and linens. The DVDs have to go to as well as cell phone chargers, the electronic keyboard, musicians friend fender jaguar, and the shoes that were floating in the water for too long. The wooden bed frames would have to go too as well as the P300 bookshelf that I bought from a garage sale. My clothes rack, thankfully, is made of steel so I can still use it.
How about you? Were you affected by the flood? How are you coping with it?

Pwede pa yun mga electronics like washing machine. Patuyuin lang for 1 week. Ganun kasi ginawa samin dati sa ref, washing machine, tv. So far nagana pa naman. Nun milenyo pa pala naglutangan un. Just sharing.
Thank you for the tip! Ganun yung ginawa namin for the ref. Pero kasi yung washing lumutang-lutang na before narescue so I’m not sure how we’re going to deal with it. Pero wee’ll still try letting it dry for a week.
