Last week, I started a new blog called “Nica on a  Budget.”  I felt the need to start a blog on living frugally because of the financial setbacks I’ve encountered this year.  Hopefully this will inspire me to work more and save. Hopefully.

So what do I plan to write in that blog.  Here’s a very short list of topics:

• Budget cooking tips — With at least five adults and 2 kids in the house, it’s a challenge to feed all of them in a single meal for under 100 pesos.  I’ve managed quite well so far in the few attempts that I made.
• Budget shopping —  I already save a lot by buying clothes off at ukay-ukay shops. I plan to look for legitimate sites that offer discount coupons, shoebuy coupons, freebies, etc.
• Budget traveling — I’ve always associated traveling with splurging but I realized that I don’t need a lot of money to enjoy a place. For this year, I aim to tour Baguio and Vigan for under 500 each. Assuming, I don’t get too stingy.
