Mr. Kimbob: Delicious Korean Food at Affordable Prices
A dear friend and I have a very special projet: eat in every stall at the food court of SM Makati. So far we’ve tried about four stalls and Mr. Kimbob is the best so far.
Mr. Kimbob is a Korean Health Food restaurant It serves traditional Korean dishes at very affordable prices. Despite my initial reservations, I tried their Kimbap and found it deliciously spicy. It’s a serving of their kimchi rice topped with few beef strips and an egg cooked sunny side up. At P75 per order, I found it to be a real “value for money” meal.
My friend, meanwhile, had their best-selling bibimbap. It’s just like mine but it had different veggies on the side, including bean sprouts, carrots, and pickled papaya. There’s also a very generous serving of meat. He had beef but you can also have chicken or pork. If I remember correctly, it’s P145 per order.
For the moment, Mr. Kimbob is my favorite Korean restaurant of because you get a taste of Korean food tailored to Pinoy taste and at very affordable prices. Their more-than-generous servings are also something that will appeal to many Filipinos who would like a different option to the regular Jollibee or KFC meal. You can visit Mr. Kimbob Korean Health Food at the following branches:
- SM Makati
- SM Megamall
- SM North
- SM Southmall
- SM Masinag
- SM Clark
- SM Rosales
- SM City Baguio
- Main branch at Poblacion, Makati City
