|October 20||Auntie Paring|
|October 25||Uncle Eddieboy|
|October 30||Manu (cousin)|
|November 21||Anna & Louie|
This year, November 21 will be extra special because my cousin Anna is getting married to a guy I introduced her to. How cool is that? I think she’ll be the first to be married in a church in our generation though my brother was married by a judge. I will be attending, of course, and already RSVPed through Facebook since she sent the invite through Facebook a month ago.
A bit of reflection: Facebook not only saves time, it also save people money. How many event invitations did you get through Facebook? I think I received at least a dozen this year. Some for seminars and workshops, some for birthdays. If we’re going to celebrate Gabby’s birthday this year, I’d use Facebook to send some free birthday party invitations. However, it concerns me that Facebook might be killing the stationery business, particularly the paper invitations business. I wrote about this here and got a response from a paper invitations designer abroad. http://nicamandigma.com/is-facebook-killing-the-paper-invitations-business
