Kris Aquino Leaves James Yap

I was watching Banana Split last Saturday and I was bothered by what I saw in NNNN. Apparently, Kris Aquino has left their family condo unit together with her sons Joshua and Bimby. There was no reason given for the move, but the first thing that came to mind was “Is Kris Aquino going to divorce James Yap?
I haven’t watch TV in a while so I was shocked. After what they’ve been through together, I just think that they’re doing well. There’s no new gossip about James and everyone’s focused on Noynoy Aquino’s inaugural as president of this country. The news that Kris left her husband is shocking. So Sunday afternoon, I made sure that I watched The Buzz.
July 27 was Kris’ last day on this top-rating show. I thought she was going to keep mum about the separating issue but she did not disappoint. She confirmed that she has left their home and issued the following statement:
“There have been a series of life altering events in my life this past year – from our mother’s death to my brother’s election and now my moving in a different direction as far as my career is concerned. Lastly, there is the state of my marriage. I would like to say that where I am now is a result of many months of fortitude, careful thought. My sole priority is the well being of my sons Josh and Bimby. We are together, they are in my care and it’s my intention and prayer to make this period of our lives to be as free from trauma as possible. I choose to keep my silence primarily because my current state is not one for celebration or lengthy discussion but rather prayer, private reflection and quiet. It is in the best interest of my two sons that I remain quiet most especially because I shouldn’t make what’s already difficult become more painful.”
Kris Aquino’s revelation was so controversial that she became the top trending topic in Twitter. But as expected, tongues started to wag about the cause of her fall out with James. I chanced upon Pinoy Gossip Boy‘s blog and here’s what he shared about it.
No. 1 – Nanghingi ng favor si James na kung puwede raw sanang tulungan ni Kris ang kapatid niyang nurse para maka kuha ng US visa at ma kapagtrabaho sa abroad. Pero parang na-misinterpret daw ni Kris at nagalit.
Sagot daw nito sa asa wang basketbolista, hindi sila ganun na parang gumagamit ng connection.
Nurse ang nasabing kapa tid ni James na sa bahay nilang mag-asawa nakatira habang nag-aaral.
No. 2 – Nagalit si Kris kay James dahil nagpa alam ito na dadalaw sa kamag-anak sa Negros na hindi kakampi ni P-Noy nang kumandidato.
Ayaw daw ni Kris at hindi pinayagan.
No. 3 – Nawala na rin ang closeness nina James at Joshua kaya talagang mainit na raw ang dugo ni Kris sa asawa.
According to Pinoy Gossip Boy, these were the reasons given by writer Salve Asis. Now, I do not know who she is, where she writes and who her source it but these are just too uncharacteristic of Kris Aquino. From what I’ve heard about her, she has a generous heart and she would not mind helping James’ brother. Second, the election is over and Noynoy has won. Someone at Kris’ position can afford to be magnanimous at this point.
