Jovit Baldovino Makes It To The Finals of Pilipinas Got Talent

YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

After his hair-rising performance of Carrie last night, YouTube sensation Jovit Baldovino is now officially a grand finalist of Pilipinas Got Talent. This is after he got the most number of text and online votes from the first batch of semi finalists who performed last night.  He got a whopping 8o% of the total votes cast! Whew!

It was hard decision for the judges to choose ventriloquist Ruther over balladeer Rolando Permangil.  It was truly heartbreaking to watch Rolando make his final remarks. I almost cried when he apologized to his three kids and told them that at least he got them to sleep in a hotel and ride an airplane.

Ruther was also crying during Rolando’s speech and Kris Aquino noticed it. Asked if he is willing to relinquish his spot to Rolando, Ruther said “Wala namang ganyanan.” He then confessed that many people dissuaded him from joining the contests because it’s his job. If he failed to qualify during the auditions, his reputation would surely take a beating. As we can all surmise, that’s bad for business. That’s all water under the bridge now because he still got a chance to make it to the finals. More power Ruther!

He sang beautifully & to be honest , a bit of help … he will go far ahead than anybody . I salute this young lad , his voice is a gift from GOD . Goodluck .. win or lose . I believed in you , JOVIT . If I have the chance to meet you , I want you to sing sa Blessing ng Resthouse ko sa Bulacan by early next year . The STAR is BORN . God bless .

    Am not watching PGT, but I heard from one of my colleague (Batanguena) asking of Jovit until she mentioned the boy with a ‘GOLDEN VOICE’. I became curious and open my internet. Whew! terrific the way he delivered the song “Faitfully & Carrie”. Foreigner voice ang dating! Hoping mabigyan ng break itong batang ito at sana walang discrimination dahil honest ang batang ito na sinasabing mahirap lamang silang pamilya. Hindi man yumaman sa pagkanta basta maging maganda rin sana ang maging buhay nilang mag anak. Jovit alam kong hindi mo gagawing maging mayabang dahil sa pinangalingan mo stay humble, huwag makalimot sa taas at lagi kang magiingat sa mga taong nakapaligid sa iyo.
