I’m back!!!
Where did time go? It’s been five months since my last post! and when I think about what kept me from blogging all those months, my list looked uncomfortably short — setting up my Facebook account and reconnecting with friends, creating a social network for my high school batchmates, setting up my Twitter accout, and attending a few parties and get-togethers.
I was stuck in a rut — that’s the best way to describe the past few months. I remember the moment when I decided that I didn’t want to be in a rut any longer. It was when I was reading a feed from Dumb Little Man entitled How to Set Goals When You Have No Idea What You Want. It’s as if a switch has been turned on inside me. I updated my resume and sent it to BestJobs, answered job advertisements, started Yoga and — the best thing of all — I finally got to update the design of this blog and that of Gabby’s. (Do you like the design?)
I was also able to set some goals, which I’m sharing with the rest of the world!
Get healthy
So far I’ve done two yoga sessions last week. I know it’s not good enough but at least I started! I also avoided soft drinks and iced tea, substituted Energen for hot chocolate, and limited coffee intake to a cup a day. If I can only withstand drinking green tea everyday instead of coffee, I’d feel much better.
Move to Xevera
This is a new subdivision in Mabalacat, Pampanga. When I mentioned these to close friends they were disagreeable. After all, I’m living in Laguna. But I really like the idea behind this property development and think it would be great to raise Gabby there.
Get busy
The last five months were filled with procastination. I ended up nowhere. So now I’m going to get busy with work, work, and more work! I’m also starting a new blog devoted to being a virtual assistant. I don’t care if no one reads it! I just want to document the things I do and experience as a virtual assistant.
What are your goals?
