While some of my friends went to their respective baranggay halls to vote, I and Ayessa of Reality Always Bites visited Clarity Aesthetic Medical and Dental Centers’ Shangri-La Plaza branch to redeem our free Intense Diamond Peel, which we got during Clarity’s Bright Smiles Event. She booked our appointment at 5PM and we were there 10 minutes before.

I took pictures using my sister’s phone but she hasn’t uploaded everything yet.  However, here are some thoughts about Clarity’s service:

• I liked that they have separate rooms for the procedures. One thing I noticed about beauty clinics or day spas here in the Philippines is that most clients are attended to in a common room to save space. Clarity definitely veered away from this norm. I love it! Now, I won’t have to listen to other customers talking while they’re getting their facials. I can just meditate.

• They have several waiting areas. Once you step inside the Shangri-la branch, you can either go to your left or right to wait for your turn. Or, you can go inside and wait in the reception area near the comfort room. They’ve also got stacks of magazine for waiting customers to peruse.

I love this color combination. Unfortunately, I have red floors.

• The store’s interior design is relaxing. I found the orange and brown (earth tones) color combination very calming. These matched well with the white walls of the clinic. Combined with the music, the ambiance of the whole place is elegantly luxurious.

Care to guess where this is? It's in Clarity's comfort room. It made me feel like I am in a high-priced spa.

• The comfort room’s awesome. The luxury effect extends to the comfort room. It’s complete with tissues, hand soap, hand lotion and talc powder. And take note! Their hand lotion and talc powder are from Marks & Spencer.
  

  I have seen quite a few co-ed comfort rooms, but none placed a house plant near the urinal. Love it!

And before I forget, I also liked their Intense Diamond Peel. It was definitely worth the long commute. And you know what else I found out? You can get this for only P500 if you book an appointment from 8AM to 10AM (off-peak hours). That’s 50% savings! I know this is good news for those who are trying to minimize or curb their beauty investments.
