For five seasons, I’ve followed Criminal Minds. I think it’s one of the best shows around and I’ve really learned a lot of about how a criminal thinks to the point that I started conceptualizing of a psycho-erotic thriller series for Ulayaw in my head. I still haven’t gotten around to it but I have watched every episode of Criminal Minds to date.
I just finished watching the episode 2 of season 6 and it seems that everything is final. AJ Cook, who plays Supervisory Special Agent/Media Liaison Jennifer “JJ” Jareau in the show, has been let go. She looked stunning and more beautiful than ever in her last episode… more in command than ever. Her loss would be surely felt.
This is truly a sad for fans of the show. (I wonder how those CBS executives are sleeping at night in their orthopedic mattress with millions of Criminal Mind fans commiserating the loss of JJ…) But we should all take a page from JJ’s book of life, accept facts, and try to understand rather than walk around angry. Here is JJ’s last statement:
This isn’t what I want but I’ll take the high road. Maybe because I look at everything as a lesson, or because I don’t wanna walk around angry. Or maybe because I finally understand. There are things we don’t want to happen, but have to accept. Things we don’t wanna know, but we have to learn. And people we can’t live without but have to let go.
