Angel Locsin Nominated in the International Emmy’s
After all that’s happened to our country, there’s still a lot that we can be happy of as a nation. One of this is the nomination of Angel Locsin as best actress in the upcoming 37th International Emmy Awards for her performance in ABS-CBN’s Lobo (The Wolf).
This is truly an honor for Angel, who has shown a remarkable improvement in her acting since her Kapuso days. This is a proof that she indeed made a wise career move when she transferred to ABS-CBN. Hopefully, there would be another great project lined up for her that will further show her acting prowess.
Meanwhile, ABS-CBN’s Kahit Isang Saglit is also nominated for best afternoon soap. This is really a huge boost for the career of Jericho Rosales who starred in that show opposite Malaysian actress Carmen Soo. I sincerely hope to hear more from Jericho as I truly think that he is one of best actors we have around here.
Also nominated for the same category as Kahit Isang Saglit is GMA’s Magdusa Ka. This daytime soap stars Marvin Agustin, Katrina Halili, and Iwa Moto. Marvin Agustin, as we all know, is a former ABS-CBN Star Magic talent.
The 37th International Emmy Awards will take place Monday, November 23, 2009 at the Hilton Hotel, New York.
