I started drinking coffee in 2005.  Before that, my mom forbade us from drinking coffee and like an obedient child I rarely drank  a cup. Until I worked as an abstractor and was seated next to a coffee addict. Smelling her freshly made coffee several times during the day, especially in the morning, was a temptation I endured for months.  I finally converted when she brought a hot cup of mocha coffee.  There was no turning back  for me.

Joining the Kape Isla would be like a pilgrimage for me then. I sure hope I can join Ms. Janette Toral in visiting:

  1. The National Coffee Research Center in Cavite State University in Indang, Cavite
  2. The Beneficio Amadeo coffee mill
  3. Coffee Roasting Plant
  4. Coffee plantations and farms

What is Kape Isla?

Kape Isla is a seal awarded by the Philippine Coffee Board to accredited roasters, merchants, and retailers of coffee to indicate that their product represents quality Philippine coffee. If you want to get into the coffee business, you can attend the Free webinar on October 9: How to Put up a Coffee Business and Choose your Coffee Blend.
